The George Mason Rugby Alumni Association (GMRAA) was established to bridge the gap between six decades of tradition and the future of the sport on our pitch. We believe that the bonds forged through rugby shouldn’t end at graduation—they should serve as the cornerstone for a thriving, sustainable program.
Our History & Vision
Our rugby club was founded 60 years ago and in 2025 this association formed to ensure Mason Rugby will live on. We want to help provide quality coaching and a foundation for generations to come. By formalizing our network, we are committed to honoring the grit of the past while building a platform for the ruggers of tomorrow.
What We Do:
- Preserve the Legacy: We are actively building a digital archive of photos, stories, and match records from every era of the club’s history.
- Support the Current Side: Our goal is to provide the resources and high-quality coaching necessary for the current team to compete at the highest level.
- Foster the Network: We create opportunities for alumni to reconnect through socials, golf tournaments, and homecoming events.
